Awakening Your 55+ Senses The PSYKID’s Intuitive UnWorkBook ©Nancy Kimball Baumgarten & L.E.M. Scientists have found biological receptors for over 20 senses beyond the standard obvious 5, PLUS cutting edge researchers have identified another 20-plus biological receptors for the just as real intangible, more subtle senses . These 55+ senses are inherent in each one of us - - just awaiting to be activated!        So, what are they? Well, you all know about the famous five: - seeing, hearing, smelling tasting, touching BUT, if that is all the SENSES that there really are, HOW COME. . . ? ;... you are sitting in your computer chair now without falling over ? ;... you most probably haven’t been walking into any walls today? ;... you haven’t blown up and exploded from eating too much? ;... you fell asleep last night even if you didn’t really want to? ;... you get funny feelings in your gut when something’s up? ;... you know how to get home from your neighbor’s house? ;... you can recognize the difference between hot and cold? ;... you don’t (usually) get dizzy from riding in a fast car? ;... you haven’t pee’d or poo’d in your pants today? ;... you remember what your own name is, right? ;... you can recognize one friend from another? So, How often do you even notice that all those events are senses that your body is taking care of all day long? SUPER GRIN :>) and we haven’t even got started! ah ha! If we want to develop our inner powers (intuitive, psychic, mystical, energetic, subtle, cellular) we can start by TAKING NOTICE of the everyday spectrum of our sense perceptions. These organic senses are intricately linked to our ‘cellular’ senses - develop one, and eventually you might develop its cellular counterpart. Some Suggestions: You might like to start keeping a daily journal of your activities, your dream last night, what you ate today - and NOTICE what you are eating while you are eating it - paying attention in the moment to what you are doing, what is passing by you, identify the sounds around you consciously - what was the bird you heard or saw? BEing AWARE and alert is how you become aware. [ AURA PRACTICE PAGE I used to ask my daughter, L.E.M. to practice what she saw - as a way of letting her know that these aspects of her gifts were just as important as what the schools asked of her.  You are welcome to copy.  Several parents have commented upon how useful it has been for their children.  One has used it for developing an in-depth knowledge along with her father who is Chinese-trained medical doctor and acupuncturist.             [ GLOSSARY of Intuitive Terms: Annotated Dictionary Definitions      Here is a list of as many of the interrelated words in the dictionary to identify qualities of a psychic kids' life that I could think of.    [Communicating with Spirits - Nancy: When L.E.M. is speaking the words from Mother of All I feel wonderfulness in the whole room.  She speaks with incredible precision at these times.            L.E.M.: When Mother of All speaks to me she says it very slowly and doesn’t tell me the next word until my mother is ready to write it.  This is the way I can confirm that I am speaking to someone else. For example, when she was starting off a sentence, she said, “ you can stare...” and for a moment I was thinking, “ What does she mean, ‘you can stare? It doesn’t make any sense; maybe I am just talking to myself.”  When she continued though, it made sense, as in “you can stare into darkness and see light.” [ Seeing Auras          L.E.M.:   I realized that "seeing auras" was the name for  what I have always seen around people after I saw this aura photo taken of me when I was 7 years old: (Oct. 11, 1992, at full moon in Atlanta)...                                                                                           You can use your extended senses too! Sanka wants to tell you that if you really want to do something,  anything, even seeing and talking to spirits, you can.               Just say to Spirit,  “I would love to be able to do this, and I will only use it for the Good. “  You can "say" this in your head or out loud, just say it with the intent that the universe will hear it.                                                                                                                   Enchanted Forest Intuitive Arts Camp 2010 Experiential Education Vacation
